our story
Lexington Smokehouse & Bar is a brand curated by people passionate about the hospitality industry, who enjoy sipping cocktails & sharing stories over brisket and mac and cheese. We opened our doors in June of 2018 to share our love of North Carolina inspired barbecue and hand-crafted cocktails with Ottawa and the Westboro Village community.
Our BBQ is to the truest form ‘from-scratch’ cooking, we make all food items in-house, even down to our brioche buns. We source sustainable meats & ingredients from local vendors such as Enright Cattle Co., and have lots of amazing vegetarian and gluten free options on the menu. We pride ourselves on our portion sizes, and our goal is that no one leaves our establishment hungry. We hand-craft all of our cocktails, and use elements such as smoke, fat-washing premium spirits, house-made syrups and infusions to bring our guests delicious and seasonally fresh cocktails.
Our wine program is carefully curated by two sommeliers on staff and has something for every palette. Whether you’re looking for a natty juice bomb from the Ontario region, or a Rioja from Spain – we’ve got what you’re looking for.
Our beer program features exclusively craft beers, as we love to support breweries in Ottawa, Ontario and all over Canada.
Although we could go on and on about our food & beverage offerings, it is truly our staff that makes Lexington so special, and we wouldn’t be here five years later without the passion, dedication and knowledge our staff brings to the table. Our bar is the perfect places to unwind after a long day or to celebrate a special occasion with friends.
